Business Banking Manager
Artemis Human Capital is working in partnership with a prominent local bank to appoint an experienced Business Banking Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and commercial team focussed on driving profitability and expanding market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of structuring and leading lending proposals, ensuring effective portfolio management and the acquisition of new business customers
- Foster a culture of excellence in SME and property lending, focusing on deal structuring, risk analysis, and maximising opportunities for growth
- Develop robust relationships with intermediaries and stakeholders
- Work closely with the Senior Business Manager to achieve annual business targets
- Develop and maintain management information (MI) systems, ensuring accuracy
- Lead the preparation of high-quality credit applications, adhering to credit and compliance standards
- Manage the lending portfolio to ensure it consistently meets credit and compliance standards
The Person:
- Previous lending / credit experience
- Ability to work either individually or as part of a team in order to execute a strategic plan which delivers and sustains growth
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Strong commercial acumen
