Artemis Human Capital is working exclusively with a fantastic multi-site business in their search for an assistant accountant. This is a newly created position within a business in growth mode. Working directly alongside the FD, the new assistant accountant will play an essential part in driving the finance function forward as the group continues to scale.
Main responsibilities of this role:
- Management accounts prep.
- Cost analysis.
- Assist with preparation of budgets and cashflow forecasting.
- Maintenance of sales and purchase ledger.
- UK and ROI VAT returns.
- Weekly and monthly reporting to senior management.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
Experience you will have:
- Experienced accounts professional who is capable of working in a fast-paced finance function.
- Experience with management accounts prep.
- Excellent IT skills – advanced Excel.
- Confident communicating with all levels of staff.
- Capable of adhering to reporting deadlines.
- Proactive and driven.
Remuneration:
- £32,000-£36,000 dependent on experience.
