Accounts Assistant
Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be working exclusively with this vibrant NI based group as they seek to appoint a an Accounts Assistant to join their existing finance function.
The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Accounts department. They will assist with supporting and developing efficient processes to maintain the integrity of the accounting records and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regular bank reconciliations
- Administration of accounts receivable ledger and overseeing credit control
- Management of accounts payable ledger and processing payment runs
- Maintaining fixed asset register
- Reconciliation and management of stock to include assisting in the co-ordination of processes by the operations team to ensure accurate inventory control, tracking and maintaining transactions for movements on the stock system
- Supporting reconciliations of control accounts
- Identification and posting of journals

About you:
- Part-qualified accountant, IATI qualified, or equivalent, with minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Previous experience in stock management systems desirable
- Knowledge in using cloud-based accounting package Xero advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft packages including, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to multi-task, show initiative and work to deadlines
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and communicate at all levels internally and externally
