Accounting Technician
Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be working exclusively with this vibrant NI based group as they seek to appoint an Accounting Technician to join their existing finance function.
The Accounting Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Accounts department. They will assist with supporting and developing efficient processes to maintain the integrity of the accounting records and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regular bank reconciliations
- Administration of accounts receivable ledger and overseeing credit control
- Management of accounts payable ledger and processing payment runs
- Maintaining fixed asset register
- Reconciliation and management of stock to include assisting in the co-ordination of processes by the operations team to ensure accurate inventory control, tracking and maintaining transactions for movements on the stock system
- Supporting reconciliations of control accounts
- Identification and posting of journals

About you:
- Part-qualified accountant, ATI qualified, or equivalent, with minimum 3 years’ current experience in a similar role
- Previous experience in stock management systems desirable
- Knowledge in using cloud-based accounting package Xero advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft packages including, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to multi-task, show initiative and work to deadlines
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and communicate at all levels internally and externally
