In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Financial Controller, providing essential support to the Finance Director to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of a high-paced Accounts department. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Monthly Management Accounts and Board Reports
- Prepare and submit VAT returns across various jurisdictions
- Maintain the general ledger, including accruals and prepayments
- Compile the year-end audit file
- Oversee bank accounts management
- Prepare cash flow forecasts
- Assist with the preparation of the annual budget
- Complete additional ad hoc duties as required
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Accountant or equivalent
- Strong analytical abilities with high proficiency in accounting software and Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Proven experience in an accounts department
- Excellent administrative skills
- Familiarity with computerized accounting systems
- Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
