Financial Accounting Manager
Are you a skilled finance professional with a solid background in audit, ready to take the next step in your career? I am searching for an exceptional Financial Accounting Manager to join a prestigious global law firm. This is a newly created and key role within the Financial Control Team, overseeing and coordinating all statutory reporting and audit requirements, ensuring the team’s processes align with the firms finance policies. You will be responsible for liaising with key stakeholders and serving as the primary contact for external auditors and overseeing and coordinating the audit process.
The Role:
- Preparing and completing multiple sets of annual statutory accounts
- Liaising with external auditors and managing the audit process
- Leading the implementation of any new accounting processes, policies or standards
- Reviewing current processes to ensure compliance with group accounting policies
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements within the team
The Person:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA)
- Extensive audit experience
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and standards
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills
