Reporting to the Head of Credit, the Junior Credit Controller will manage their own portfolio of customers and will fulfil a varied and dynamic credit control position with ample further training and development offered.
Typical duties
- Managing the debt for a portfolio of commercial clients
- Attending both internal & external meetings
- Agreeing and monitoring repayment plans
- Prompt resolution of queries
- Reconciliation of customer accounts
- Allocation of monies
The ideal candidate:
- Minimum of 2 years’ current experience
- Strong mathematical mind (excellent GCSE/A Level Maths results advantageous)
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft excel
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritisation skills
