Artemis Human Capital are delighted to be partnering with an excellent global business based in Newry who have newly created roles for two Finance Analysts.
This is an excellent opportunity for a practice trained accountant to make their first step into industry with an NI Top 100 company. From day one you will gain varied exposure into all aspects including management accounts, budgeting and forecasting and costings.
There is exceptional support from the Financial Controller and plenty of opportunity to develop your skills and progress into a senior role within the business.
The role:
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts including posting of journals.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Monthly CIS, VAT, Intrastat & EC Sales returns.
- Bank and Commercial Finance reconciliations.
- Maintain the fixed asset register, analyse additions and calculate depreciation.
- Monitor capital expenditure for approved projects.
- Capital expenditure spend reporting for multiple subsidiaries.
The person:
- Someone who has started their CIMA/ACCA exams or who wants to pursue gaining their qualification and can avail of study support from the business.
- Minimum of one years’ experience working in a finance role.
- Third level degree – ideally in accountancy/finance/economics/business.
- Good Excel skills.
- Confident communicator.
- Coachable and adaptable.
- Eager to gain exposure and progress.
- Organisation and attention to detail.
