About the Role
We are recruiting for a Sales Executive to join a growing commercial team within a well-established manufacturing business. This role focuses on managing and developing customer relationships, supporting sales growth, and ensuring a high level of service across key accounts.
You will work closely with both new and existing customers, helping to identify opportunities, respond to queries, and support the delivery of products and services. This is a varied role offering exposure to multiple areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customer accounts
- Act as a main point of contact for customer queries and requests
- Support account management activities to drive retention and growth
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and customer communications
- Monitor sales performance and assist with reporting and analysis
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery
- Assist with product promotions and general sales support activities
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and updates
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in sales, account management, or a customer-facing role
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
- Proactive and customer-focused approach
- Full driving license preferred
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience in a fast-paced commercial or manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with CRM or similar systems
- Confidence working with data and reports
