Project Delivery Manager – 12 month Contract - £neg + retention bonus

Established in 1969 Radius Systems develop and manufacture innovative plastic pipeline solutions for the gas industry with these solutions now commonly used in the water, wastewater, energy & power, district heating and telecoms sectors.

Due to continued growth and investment Radius Systems now require a Project Delivery Manager to oversee and manage an £8Mil expansion project at their Lurgan site.

As Project Delivery Manager reporting to the General Manager, you will ensure the tasks undertaken by the multi-disciplinary project team are aligned so that project deliverables can be met on time and within budget. You will manage the progress of the expansion project ensuring that internal project management and quality systems are effectively used to deliver the required project goals.

Advising management on improvements that could be made to internal systems to assist with project delivery, you will liaise with internal divisions such as Finance, IT, HR, Operations, Quality, Purchasing and logistics. You will steer meetings and correspondence with stakeholders reporting on project performance, understanding, and identifying key project issues that threaten project success and work with all parties to mitigate risk.

Working to agree timelines you will manage costs and resources, consider variations or changes of scope and renegotiation of costs if required. With a continuous improvement mindset, you will identify improvement opportunities in processes and equipment, optimising and modernising to reduce costs and increasing efficiency, reliability, and safety.

An excellent communicator, you are a highly organised Project Manager and have experience of managing similar capital projects on a live site. Ideally you are from a Manufacturing background and likely degree qualified, with experience of Project management methodologies and toolkits such as Microsoft project.
