Artemis Human Capital are delighted to be working with a long-standing, reputable business in Donegal. This business is a market leader in both domestic and international markets in the FMCG sector. Our client pride themselves on their culture and their products – this ethos has resulted in a continued period of growth, resulting in a newly created position for a Payroll Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly and monthly payrolls, covering approximately 200 employees.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee payroll records.
  • Generate and distribute payroll reports as needed.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure smooth payroll operations.
  • Assist the FC and FD with general accounting duties on an adhoc basis.

Experience required

  • Minimum of 3 years payroll processing experience.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and MS Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong understanding of payroll practices, tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Confident communicator who can cross pollinate effectively with other departments and senior management.
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical skills and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
