An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Partner (or Senior Associate ready to step up) to join a highly respected, forward-thinking commercial law firm in Belfast. This is a rare strategic appointment within a thriving practice offering genuine influence, autonomy, and long-term career potential.

The Opportunity

You will lead and grow an established Private Client department with an already-strong reputation in high-value estate planning, trusts, succession matters, capacity issues and complex tax work for HNW and UHNW individuals. The firm is investing significantly in expanding its private client offering, and this role will sit at the heart of that growth.

• Managing and developing a high-quality caseload covering wills, trusts, probate, tax planning, asset protection and estate administration

• Strengthening existing client relationships and cultivating new high-value work

• Providing leadership to junior lawyers and helping shape the strategic growth of the team

• Working closely with colleagues across property, corporate and family to deliver a seamless client service

Criteria:

• An experienced Private Client Partner OR a Senior Associate with a clear business case for partnership

• A strong technical background in estate planning, trusts and tax

• Proven ability to develop client relationships and attract new work

• A collaborative, modern approach with a commitment to exceptional client service

• STEP qualification strongly preferred
