Operations Director

An environmentally friendly company growing in a sustainable way this manufacturer have seen ambitious and consistent growth and now look to appoint an Operations Director to join their fast paced, high energy team. Reporting to the MD you will be a strategic leader, managing several different teams of people across multiple departments. Driving a culture of continuous improvement through change management, you will ensure KPI’s are met, identifying and implementing efficiencies and best practice. Meeting production targets you will ensure high quality products are manufactured in a safety conscious, quality focused customer driven culture.

Heading up production at site level you will have overall responsibility for quality, on time delivery and production efficiencies.

You will liaise with the factory manager and work closely with the quality department to ensure products are meeting the required quality standards and remakes are being kept to a minimum. Working with the maintenance department to ensure machine up time is maximised you will also lead, motivate and develop the teams to minimise wastage.

You’re a target driven, proactive and energetic leader who is data driven and health and safety conscious. With at least 5 years’ experience in a similar senior management role you will have a strong track record of delivering excellent operational services as well as developing strong relationships with key stakeholders.

With demonstrable experience leading and influencing teams to achieve organisational objectives you have an eye for detail, experience working in a fast-paced environment and can motivate others to meet targets within tight deadlines.
