About the Role

A leading law firm in Belfast is seeking an ambitious Insurance Litigation Solicitor to join its highly regarded team. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-value litigation across sectors such as personal injury, clinical negligence, and industrial disease.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload of insurance litigation matters, representing clients in court and alternative dispute resolution.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to insurers, businesses, and private clients.
  • Draft and review pleadings, witness statements, and legal briefs with precision and attention to detail.
  • Work closely with senior solicitors and partners to develop case strategies and deliver successful outcomes.
  • Stay updated on insurance law and case developments, applying insights to active cases.

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Solicitor with a valid practicing certificate in Northern Ireland.
  • Minimum 2 years PQE in insurance litigation, with experience handling a varied and complex caseload.
  • Strong advocacy, negotiation, and client management skills.
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive, client-focused approach.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a high-performing legal team.
