This is a career defining opportunity for an experienced CFA or ACA qualified professional who is ready for their next challenge. This role will work closely with the existing team & focuses on origination, execution, & management of EIS investments.
The Job…
This is a pivotal hire for the firm & the successful applicant will play a strategic role within the senior leadership of the team. Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Driving the sourcing, evaluation, & completion of new investment opportunities.
- Overseeing a portfolio of investee companies, including tracking performance & implementing follow-on strategies.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders.
- Ensuring adherence to compliance & regulatory requirements.
- Playing an active role in strategic planning & fundraising activities.
- Assisting with investor relations, regular reporting, & periodic fund valuation processes.
The Ideal Candidate…
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will possess the following qualifications & attributes:
- Strong previous in either investment management, venture capital or private equity.
- CFA or ACA qualification is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the UK Enterprise Investment Scheme.
- Experience leading due diligence/transaction processes would be highly advantageous.
- The ability to demonstrate an understanding of AML, GDPR & FCA principles and frameworks.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
