Group Financial Controller
Artemis Human Capital are delighted to be partnering with a fantastic business based in Belfast to appoint a highly commercial Financial Controller. Having recently taken private equity investment this company are in growth mode and need a seasoned financial controller to join the CFO at this pivotal time.
In this varied, hands on role the successful candidate will oversee the day to day running of the companies finance team, manage the budgeting and cashflow forecasting alongside assisting with M&A activities.
The role:
- Day to day management of the finance department
- Overall responsibility for monthly reporting
- Revenue, expense and variance analysis reporting
- Board reporting and presentation
- Manage external stakeholders and investor reporting
- Budget preparation and reforecasting
- Cashflow forecasting and maintenance of forecast models
- Oversight of Payroll
- Liaise with the commercial teams on KPI’s and variance analysis
- Develop and implement governance and reporting processes across the group.
The person:
- ACA/ ACCA /CIMA qualified
- Previous experience in a senior management position within a fast paced accounts department
- Highly commercial individual with proven business partnering experience
- Advanced Excel skills to include complex financial modelling
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbally.
- High level of attention to detail preferably with audit experience
