Financial Controller – NI Top 30 firm

A leading NI owned business (revenue £150mil+) is seeking a talented and experienced Financial Controller to join its dynamic finance team at a key site in Belfast. The company is currently modernising its finance function, having recently implemented a new ERP system. The next phase involves transforming reporting structures to streamline processes and significantly reduce month-end close times. The incoming Financial Controller will play a pivotal role in driving this change.

• £65k – £75k base salary

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day finance function, managing a team of qualified and transactional staff.

• Deliver timely monthly reporting, forecasting, and strategic insights.

• Collaborate closely with commercial teams to support business growth.

• Work directly with the Finance Director and internal stakeholders.

• Develop and implement new reporting structures to enhance efficiency.

What You’ll Bring:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).

• Proven leadership experience within a finance team.

• Strong FP&A and ERP systems experience (desirable).

• Background in a high-revenue or complex business environment (desirable).
