Financial Controller – Maternity Contract

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a globally respected and thriving manufacturing company as a Financial Controller for a 9-month maternity cover in Belfast. Known for its innovation, agility, and commitment to excellence, this international organisation offers a dynamic and supportive work environment.

Based in Belfast but offering remote working, you’ll take the lead as the senior finance professional on-site, managing day-to-day accounting duties while guiding a small, high-performing team. This role combines hands-on financial leadership with strategic collaboration, as you’ll report directly to the Head of Finance in the US, gaining valuable exposure to global finance operations.

The Benefits:

• £60k – £65k salary (pro-rated)
• Remote working (only office based during month-end)

The Role:

• Manage a small team
• Run and complete financial month-ends
• Preparation of monthly board pack
• Complete year-end audit
• Cashflow forecasting and variance analysis
• Maintain and develop balance sheet

The Person:

• Chartered accountant
• Team management skills/ experience
• Excellent communication skills
