Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day finance operations including payroll, fees, and payments.
- Prepare detailed management accounts, projections, and cashflow reporting.
- Manage annual budgeting, financial statements, audits, and compliance tasks.
- Oversee payroll processes, staffing budgets, and salary reporting systems.
- Monitor pupil fees, handle debt recovery, treasury, and VAT returns.
- Manage finances for College’s retail arm, including VAT and reporting.
- Support departmental budgets, visa processes, parent communication, and governance.
- Provide HR support on contracts, employment law, and staff welfare.
Who we are looking for:
- Qualified accountant with broad post-qualification financial experience.
- Self-motivated, detail-focused, organised, with strong numeracy.
- Proficient in Excel, accounting software, online banking.
- Experienced leader; payroll, charity, education, GDPR knowledge.
