Following a significant investment in early 2024, the organisation has entered an exciting new phase of growth and development. As part of this progression, a new Finance Manager role has been created to support the Finance Director and oversee the day‑to‑day operation of the finance function.

The successful individual will assist the Finance Director in driving strategic decision making, optimising financial performance and ensure control across the business. Given the growth plans of the business and associated requirements of the Finance function the role will provide an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to obtain broad experience, rapid professional growth and potential career progression.

The Role: 

• Lead the day‑to‑day finance operations, including cash flow, working capital, and credit control
• Prepare timely monthly and annual financial statements in line with reporting deadlines
• Optimise efficiencies and functionality of new accounting system
• Support the Finance Director with enhanced reporting and insights
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all tax returns and payments
• Prepare audit files and act as the main point of contact for external auditors
• Maintain a strong framework and culture of financial control

The Person:

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Strong IT and analytical skills
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Commercially minded
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage a small team
