Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be working in partnership with a highly regarded organisation with a pivotal role in the local business and stakeholder landscape in the appointment of an experienced Events and Marketing Manager. This is a standout opportunity to take the lead in delivering dynamic marketing campaigns and events that energise the wider business community, strengthen partnerships and make a tangible impact.

The role:

The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of an integrated marketing and events strategy. You will drive initiatives that promote the area, support member businesses and enhance engagement across a wide audience.

This position requires strong experience managing multi-channel campaigns and delivering a diverse calendar of events. You will work closely with partner organisations, external agencies and key stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and high-quality execution across all activities.

Key elements of the role:

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing, communications and events plans
  • Oversee digital and traditional marketing campaigns, both paid and organic
  • Plan and deliver an annual programme of events, including key seasonal initiatives
  • Create compelling content across website, social media, email and print platforms
  • Monitor, analyse and report on campaign and event performance, demonstrating return on investment
  • Manage budgets effectively, ensuring best value and accountability
  • Coordinate with PR advisors, creative agencies and event suppliers
  • Ensure brand consistency across all channels and materials
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, partners and stakeholders

Skillset and experience required:

  • At least three years’ experience in marketing, event delivery and comms
  • Proven track record of managing campaigns from planning through to completion
  • Experience managing and controlling budgets/forecasting
  • Strong digital marketing and social media expertise, including content creation
  • Excellent written communication skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills with confidence engaging a range of stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, creative and adaptable
