Artemis Human Capital are delighted to be working exclusively with a highly established, successful manufacturing business. They are a multi-site operation that are leading the way in the manufacturing sector.
They have a fantastic opportunity for a Credit Manager to join the business.
This role will involve:
- Lead and mentor an experienced team of credit controllers to achieve team goals and maintain a positive and productive working environment.
- Manage the day-to-day operational credit control activities, including assessing creditworthiness, setting credit limits, and collecting outstanding debts.
- Develop and implement strategies to assess and mitigate credit risk.
- Foster strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Review and make decisions on credit applications, balancing the need to minimize risk with the objective of growing the business.
- Generate regular reports on credit performance, aging accounts, and financial risk assessments.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement.
Experience:
- Proven experience in credit management – ideally within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- In-depth knowledge of credit principles, financial analysis, and risk assessment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
