Credit Controller
Artemis are pleased to introduce this new role exclusively to the market. We are working closely with our client to appoint an experienced and driven credit control professional to take on an initial 6 month project. This could lead to extension or a permanent role.

In this position, you will be responsible not only for credit control but also for maintaining and reviewing customer accounts, ensuring all account information is up to date and accounts are properly set up before work begins. You’ll work closely with project managers and customers to ensure smooth financial operations across all group activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the company’s debtor ledger across multiple business units
- Review and manage customer accounts, including setting up new accounts
- Proactively contact customers regarding outstanding and overdue invoices
- Resolve account queries by liaising with project managers and customers
- Allocate and reconcile incoming payments
- Produce regular aged debt and open account reports, highlighting risks or concerns
- Support the continuous improvement of financial and credit control processes
What You’ll Bring:
- Current experience in credit control and or finance role
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial information
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
- Experience with Xero or similar finance systems (desirable)
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset
