Corporate/Commercial Solicitor
About the Role:
We are delighted to be working with a leading local practice in Belfast on the recruitment of a Corporate/Commercial Solicitor. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of legal matters within a supportive and professional environment.
Responsibilities:
- Corporate Transactions: Advise on and manage a variety of corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, and restructurings.
- Commercial Contracts: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, ensuring all agreements are legally sound and in the best interests of clients.
- Commercial Real Estate: Handle commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, and development projects, providing comprehensive legal support.
- Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing high-quality legal advice and ensuring their needs are met.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the firm, including solicitors and support staff, to deliver seamless legal services across all departments.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in corporate law, or commercial real estate.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of UK corporate law, M&A processes, and commercial property law.
- Client Focus: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships, with a focus on delivering excellent service.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of negotiating and drafting complex legal documents.
- Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to the firm’s success.
