Contract Manager (NEC – MTC)
We are working with a well-established contractor to appoint an experienced Contract Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of an NEC Term Service (MTC) contract.
This is a hands-on role for someone comfortable operating at the centre of client, commercial and operational activity. You’ll take ownership of contract administration, performance management and stakeholder relationships, ensuring compliance, control and collaboration throughout the life of the contract.
The role will suit someone who enjoys working closely with public sector clients, adapts well to changing priorities, and takes pride in building strong, trust-based relationships.
The Role
You will be responsible for the effective management and administration of an NEC MTC, including:

Day-to-day management of an NEC Term Service Contract (MTC), ensuring full compliance with contractual and client requirements

Preparing and presenting monthly reports to internal stakeholders and attending governance meetings

Managing resources to deliver responsive repairs on a daily, weekly and monthly basis

Acting as the primary interface between the client and supply chain, ensuring clear and professional communication

Monitoring and managing KPIs to agreed internal and client standards

Supporting claims, variations and queries, including reviewing and recommending payment assessments, certifying invoices and monitoring spend against budget

Working with the wider team to prepare accurate and prudent cost value reconciliations

Upholding data protection policies and procedures at all times

Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and undertaking additional duties as required
Experience & Qualifications
Essential:
-
Degree in Construction, Commercial Management or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)

NEC accreditation or demonstrable NEC4 MTC contract management experience (e.g. MRICS, MCIOB)

Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing contracts with an annual turnover of £2m–£5m+

Full UK driving licence
Desirable:

Experience delivering public sector, housing association or education authority contracts
