The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join a leading legal team in Belfast. The role involves handling a diverse range of complex litigation matters, including general commercial disputes, copyright infringements, data protection (DP) issues, and intellectual property (IP) disputes. Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Litigation: Manage a variety of commercial disputes, from initial client consultations through to resolution.
- IP Disputes: Handle cases involving copyright infringements and other intellectual property disputes.
- Data Protection Issues: Advise and represent clients in data protection disputes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Case Management: Oversee all aspects of case preparation, including drafting legal documents, conducting research, and liaising with clients and other stakeholders.
Essential Criteria:
- Qualifications: Qualified as a solicitor in Northern Ireland and/or England and Wales with relevant post-qualification experience.
- Experience: Strong background in commercial litigation, particularly in IP, copyright, and data protection disputes.
- Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
