Commercial Accountant (exclusive)
DESCRIPTION
Our client is an exciting and innovative new entrant to the energy market, committed to supplying energy from renewable sources to the island of Ireland and working towards a Net Zero economy.
To help achieve ambitious growth plans, they are eager to appoint a highly commercial and driven accountant to work closely with the Managing Director, assisting with strategy, commercial decision making and day to day finance.
This is a brand new opportunity within the business and as such requires an experienced and commercial accountant with the ability to work autonomously and eventually build a team.
The Role:
- Help implement and maintain accountancy processes and procedures
- Preparation and presentation of monthly analysis reports
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Cash-flow management and forecasting
The Person:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Commercial and analytical
- Inquisitive with a desire to solve problems
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong systems experience
- Previous experience within energy/utilities is desirable
