Do you love working on excel? Then this role is perfect for you! You will support a vibrant fiannce function, with the production, analysis and distribution of key reports which are used to monitor and report on critical aspects of business performance.

  • Distribution of accurate reports within agreed timeframes including timely and professional responses to queries raised by recipient
  • Work with members of the Business Improvement & Reporting team in the production/development of insightful reports as requested by both internal and external customers
  • Work with members of the Business Improvement & Reporting team in the continuous review of all reports to ensure that they continue to add value and provide the required level of analysis to the business
  • To assist in the creation and maintenance of process documentation for both the Business Improvement & Reporting team and other teams as requested
  • To participate in and drive continuous improvement



  • Ideally a Graduate in a business related discipline (minimum educational requirement of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent including Maths and English grade C or above)
  • Minimum of 2 (current) years experience spent in an Accounting / Finance setting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the manipulation of large data sets (e.g. VLOOKUPS, SUMIF, SUMIFS, Pivot tables) and the desire, enthusiasm and aptitude to gain a deep understanding of Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast moving and complex environment whilst ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally
  • Team player with a can do attitude


  • Previous experience in a Business Improvement and/or Reporting role
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel user including writing of VBA code (macros) & experience with Power Query/Power Pivot
  • Exposure to SAP / Power BI or another Business Intelligence tool
