Artemis Human Capital are delighted to be working in partnership with a trusted client of ours in the search for a Bookkeeper to join the business on a full time, permanent basis. This is a brilliant family run company that have been operating for 15 years within the manufacturing sector.

This is a newly created role and is embedded within a genuinely lovely team. Having placed previously with this business, I can assure you that you will be joining a supportive and collaborative team who aim to maintain an excellent company culture.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will involve:

  • Bank reconciliations.
  • VAT returns.
  • Journal entries, reconciliations and taking accounts to trial balance.
  • Maintenance of sales and purchase ledger.
  • Processing prepayments and accruals.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years’ experience working within a finance department.
  • Experience using Sage would be desirable.
  • Capable of adhering to reporting deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator who can liaise with colleagues.
