Assistant Accountant
Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with a progressive and well-established local accountancy practice to recruit a Part-Qualified Accountant. Due to continued growth, our client is expanding their team and creating a new opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional to join them.
This position offers the chance to work closely with senior leaders and gain exposure to a broad and interesting client base. The Role
As part of a collaborative and experienced team, your responsibilities will include:

Preparing year-end statutory accounts for a wide range of clients.

Supporting the preparation of management accounts and detailed financial reporting.

Ensuring all client work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.

Communicating directly with clients to gather financial data and respond to day-to-day queries.

Assisting with corporate tax computations and the submission of returns.
About You
To be considered, you should ideally demonstrate:

Recent experience within an accountancy practice environment.

Active progression towards ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.

A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within practice and advisory services.

Strong interpersonal skills, with confidence dealing directly with clients.
