Accounting – Assistant Manager

Our client is a well established, highly regarded & growing firm with an enviable & diverse client portfolio. Due to continued business success, they are keen to appoint an assistant manager to their accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified accountant coming from an accountancy practice background.
The Job
Working closely with the wider accounting team, you will work across the following areas:
- Managing a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring a high quality accounting & advisory service is provided.
- Preparation of year end accounts, management accounts, & any ad hoc advisory work required by clients.
- Liaising with clients to ensure all queries are answered quickly & professionally.
- Mentorship of junior team members.
Candidate Criteria
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will ideally possess the following attributes:
- A recently qualified ACA or ACCA accountant.
- Accountancy practice experience essential.
- Experience working in an accounting focused role is preferred, but those coming from an audit background will also be considered.
- A proactive & solution-orientated individual.
- Excellent communication & organisational skills.
