Finance Assistant
Artemis are excited to be partnering with this innovative household name to help them recruit a talented and commercial Finance Assistant to join their team in Belfast.
This is the ideal role for someone who is looking for a less traditional Accounts role.

You will join a vibrant, go-getting team and work as part of a highly dynamic operations team, gaining valuable insight into the accounting and operational running of a FMCG business.
Typical duties:
- As part of a small finance team, take a hands-on approach to all aspects of the business, working closely with management, logistics partners and the sales team.
- Stock and customs reconciliations.
- Stock related invoice and Excise Duty tracking.
- Management of POS stock reporting.
- Support to identify stock at risk and partner with sales team to minimise stock loss.
- Analysis & forecasting customer volume
- Sales and KPI reporting.
- Assisting other members of the accounting team in various financial functions
The ideal person:
- You will be an experienced Finance Assistant with ideally 2 years minimum current experience in a fast paced Accounts setting
- You will be an accomplished excel user (to intermediate level at least)
- You will enjoy working at pace and meeting competing deadlines
- You will have a confident communication style and be able to work well with a range of finance and non finance related stakeholders
- You will have a pragmatic, can do attitude and be focused on delivery
